WebGPU meets WebAssembly — GPU Power & Near-Native Speed in the Browser

Abstract

WebGPU is finally landing in modern browsers, giving JavaScript developers direct access to GPU power. WebAssembly, meanwhile, is becoming the standard way to run near-native code on the web. In this talk, we’ll explore what actually becomes possible when these two technologies meet – including their growing role in running lightweight machine-learning models directly in the browser.
